Concert Class

IMG are pleased to announce the launch of a new Concert Class to sit alongside the existing Winds, Percussion and Music Ensemble Classes at 2019 shows. 

Concert Class will feature a 20 minute performance slot where groups are welcome to sit down. The accreditation system will be carried out by two judges, with one assessing Music and the other Entertainment. The award system will be a Gold, Silver or Bronze placing. 

IMG Vice Chair Roger Steele said “We’ve been building links with Brass, Wind and Concert bands who are interested in participating in IMG events. However most of these bands are used to performing a 20 minute set, rather than the 10 minutes that those of us from a marching background are more familiar with. Therefore we feel that this new class will accommodate this and provide another style of entertainment to our shows”.
